About
As an assistive technology coordinator and teacher at a high school in Bergen County, New Jersey, I feel that my goal is to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed in and after high school. A Masters degree in Educational Technology and experience both in and out of the classroom has exposed me to a variety of technology and learning solutions.
I believe that when a student has a reading or writing challenge to overcome, assistive technology can provide a way for a student to complete these tasks independently and at his or her own pace.
Just as someone with poor eyesight can use a pair of glasses to correct their vision, assistive technology can provide a way for students with alternative learning needs to read, write and learn without the frustration for both parent and student.
